Description


The 2024 Arkansas Broadcasters Convention will be October 13-15 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. We will meet at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort starting with a reception on Sunday Evening. Full registration includes all events and meals.

If you have staff who would like to attend only the Monday seminars, registration is at no charge for Broadcast members.  The Arkansan of the Year Luncheon is not included, but tickets for that event are available for purchase during the registration process.

We have a room block at two hotels. We have a special rate at Oaklawn of only $140 per night, and a special rate at the Microtel (Across the street from Oaklawn) at only $85 per night.

The ABA will rebate $75 per night for those staying at Oaklawn for two nights, or $42.50 per night for two nights for those staying at the Microtel.

Rebate checks will be sent after convention attendance. The number of rooms is limited per member, as are complimentary full registrations.

Early Bird Registration period is over. Full registration is now $595.

Broadcast members will receive at least TWO FULL FREE registrations per Member Company. Full registration includes all meals and functions. As you sign up here, you'll see a 100% discount for your first two registrations. 

Important additions:

  • If your company needs additional full registrations, those are available at a discounted rate for broadcast members.
  • The Monday Seminars are FREE for all broadcast members, so bring your staff. While the seminars do include the breaks, the Arkansan of the Year luncheon does require a paid ticket. Staff can also have lunch at other locations if they don't want to attend the Convention luncheon.
  • Broadcast registration does not include spouses. Full Spouse registration is available at a discounted rate as well.
  • If you only want to attend one or two events, ala carte tickets are available for purchase. 
  • You'll see all pricing as you go through the registration process.

You will make your own room reservations via a link sent after you register for the convention. We have hotel blocks with discount pricing at Oaklawn, and across the street at the MictroTel Hotel.

YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN HOTEL RESERVATIONS from those links. Convention registration does not reserve a hotel room.

For Broadcast Members, the ABA will rebate a portion of your hotel stay as an added benefit. We will issue room rebates to any broadcast members who attend the convention, equal to the number of free registrations your Company gets. The Oaklawn Rebate will be $75 per room per night; the MicroTel rebate will be $42.50 per room per night.

Note: Rebates are only available after you have attended the convention and only for the number of free registrations your Company uses.
